Popcorn


Here's the popcorn recipe! I think I found it in a Rachael Ray cookbook at some point, but not sure. 

3 T vegetable oil
1 C popping corn
½ cup butter
2 cloves garlic, cracked away from skin
1 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt and freshly ground black pepper

  1. Place oil in a heavy pot with a lid and heat over medium-high heat (I use my largest stainless deep skillet). Add corn and pop, shaking the pan until popping slows to 2 or 3 seconds between pops, then remove from heat.

  1. Place butter and garlic in microwave and melt 15 seconds on high. Discard garlic clove.

  1. Pour butter over corn and sprinkle cheese over corn. Turn to coat. Season with salt and black pepper.
